LEGO is back again with another game LEGO game for your mobile devices. This time they’re combining Star Wars fans and LEGO in an all out battle to train the Jedi Knights with Yoda.

The Dark Side is creating a weapon more powerful than anything you’ve seen before and its your job to guide the Jedi to cleansing this evil – or you can join the dark side. Build and create characters from Star Wars, including vehicles and begin battling your enemy in an all out war to save the Universe.

The gameplay for LEGO Star Wars: TYC is based on the players commanding an army of soldiers, vehicles or Jedi members.

CONTROLS

Controls for the game is extremely simple but can be a frustrating and tiring. You tap on the area you want to move your troops towards or on the object you want them to smash. This can get tiring as you venture your troops into larger areas where it may take multiple taps to move from one area to another.

You cannot swipe to explore the area in this game which makes it extremely frustrating when moving around in the game.

STAGES & OBJECTIVE

Not every stage in the game is complete. Each stage that can be access has their own certain objective where you’ll either need to defeat the enemy or meet a certain target on the stage. Once you meet this target, the stage will be cleared.

The graphics in this game are superior to casual games found in the market. The LEGO franchise has done extremely well with the graphics in their game. If not all, then most of the characters in the game are in 3D and in a 3D world. The colors are also well selected for the Star Wars theme.

There are lots of cut-scenes in this game that makes it very enjoyable to watch. Although they’re not that long.

Everything from laser beam blasts to lightsabers to the classic Star Wars theme. Even if you’re not a Star Wars fan you’ll still remember the familiar soundtracks in this game.

LEGO Star Wars: TYC is an acceptable game that you can play on the go while travelling but don’t expect too much from it. The game is not finished and there are only a certain number of levels available to players. More stages are said to be “Coming Soon” and is stamped and locked with those words.

The graphics in the game is the most intriguing part of the game. Fans will see their favorite Star Wars character in full 3D form but made from LEGO. Yes, that means you’ll see lightsabers shine like it has never shined before, on your mobile device any way.

Unfortunately, the game is short and unfinished. It feels as if the game is only a teaser version and leaves stages unfinished and may halt the fun when players reach the final point in the game. If you like Star Wars then surely you want to have a look at this game in the market.
