Gaming Devices
Buying a mobile gaming device isn’t easy. With multiple models in the market doing almost the exact same thing, one could find it hard to make decisions on investing their money.
We’ll here help you understand which device you may need if your primary goal is to game. Please keep in mind that these are more than just gaming devices and each year the model gets upgrade (some times in less time). Upgrades does not mean you’ll need to upgrade your device but new games and updates may require newer models.
Never Buy 2-generation old models
One rule of thumb for mobile gamers is to never buy 2-generation older devices compared to the recent one. This is because games on mobile devices update so frequently that soon your device will no longer be supported. Also speed will be a lot slower on older devices.
Try to go for the largest capacity
For gamers, 8GB devices are probably the worst selection. Games today in the form of apps are no longer 10MB or 50MB but some ranges from 250MB – 2GB.
That being said, we recommend at least 16GB or storage and higher. The higher your storage the better off you are not having to worry about your device not having enough space.
One may ask. I see downloading the app only cost 50MB but in reality that 50MB will turn into 250+MB. That is being downloading the app itself will use 50MB but on occasion the game will have downloading content which will increase your storage usage.
Buy based on your needs
This is the biggest question.
You will need to ask yourself, what is your needs. When we say needs, two things comes to mind.
Screen Size and what are you using it for?
If you are able to answer this question clearly, then you’ll be able to save hundreds of dollars on what you really need. Many people debate on their device not because of the device, but on the price.
Whether you are buying an Apple device or an Android device, satisfying your needs is most important.
If you need a cellphone, get the cellphone. If you need a tablet, get the tablet. If you need a music player, get the music player. Following these simple steps will ensure to help maximum your money.
For Apple devices, each device works perfectly and the quality is unparalleled. It may be harder for Android devices but there are really only a limited number of game devices out there.

There are really two main competitors for mobile gaming in the apps and games market today. Apple’s iOS has an massive amount of games for their devices and many of them are exclusive to Apple’s line of product. The other is Android, a growing competitor to Apple from Google. While there are less games for Android devices, many developers are porting Apple ready-made games to Android.
The main reason people choose to buy Android or Apple is due to price. This is in terms of gaming, other functions are not accounted.
