DragonVale Gem Dragons & Gemstone Island Announced!

DragonVale fans are you ready for new content in DragonVale? Gem generating dragons perhaps? We certainly are! The amazing creators, Backflip Studios, never stops to design and bring you the most of epic dragons for your DragonVale park!

Just hours ago they released the news about the amazing Gemstone Island and the Gem dragons for the upcoming update [Expected to be DragonVale Update 1.8.0]. Players have been speculating what new dragons will appear and what new features will be added. We here will talk about them and give you the latest information about the DragonVale Gem Dragons.

The gem dragons in DragonVale are expected dragons that will generate gems once they are on the Gemstone Island [Sorry, island sold separately]. It appears that Backflip Studios has taken a turn for the gem dragons instead of using special events. The gemstone dragons will align with the birthstones represented by each month [Learn more here]. That’s right! Each dragon that will be released for the Gemstone island will represent a birthstone and their month/color.

For May, it is expected that there will be an Emerald Dragon, while June, there will be a Pearl Dragon. You can look up your birthstone month to see which one you will want to keep an eye out to breed using the link above, but here’s a short list.
