Be excited. Be very excited. DragonVale has updated players with another amazing new dragon called the “Obsidian Dragon”. This Obsidian Dragon is now available for players to breed and features one cool dragon to have in your DragonVale park.
The last time we’ve seen such a dark colored purple dragon was when the butterfly dragon appeared but that was definitely different from this dragon. This Obsidian Dragon combines two very powerful elements together to create this must breed for dragon in your DragonVale park.
The best part to this dragon is that while you are breeding for him, you might also get a chance at getting the Limited Time Bone Dragon for your DragonVale park!
How to breed Obsidian Dragon (Learn More)
The Obsidian Dragon and the Bone Dragon shares the same elements. For veteran players, it’s hard to forget what elements combines to create the bone dragon but if you are new don’t worry! The elements are very simple for the Obsidian Dragon, they’re the Earth and Fire elements in your game.
If you want to breed for the bone dragon you must use the Fire Dragon and the Earth Dragon for a chance to get the Obsidian Dragon. The breeding time on a regular breeding island or cave is 8 hours while upgraded ones are 6:23:57 or it cost 7 gems to fast breed.
Please keep in mind you’ll also get a chance at getting a Bone Dragon (During Halloween) and the Lava Dragon. The breeding order of left or right will not affect your chances and the level of your dragons will not as well. It’s up to your game to give you the dragon
