The Spring Dragon has been removed from the markets in DragonVale and the Summer Dragon is now available for breeding! This brand new dragon is just in time to celebrate the summer season and DragonVale players certainly don’t want to miss this opportunity to get the dragon into their park.
When does the Summer Dragon expire?
Like the Spring Dragon, this Summer Dragon appears during a certain season and will disappear after the season. This makes the dragon a limited edition dragon for the game. However, the last bring limited edition seasonal dragon lasted for about 3-4 months which means this Summer Dragon will have a similar expiry time.
What does the Summer Dragon look like?
The Summer Dragon is a blue colored dragon that combines colors of purple and yellow. It’s wings are yellow and looks similar to the firefly dragon.
How to breed the Summer Dragon?
The Summer Dragon requires the elements of Lightning, Water, and Fire for an opportunity to get the dragon. That means you can use any combination with these three elements for a chance to get the dragon into your game.

About Spring Dragon
The Spring Dragon was the first limited edition dragon that is part of the season line of dragons. It was removed on June 21st 2013 and replaced with the Summer Dragon.
