The Simpsons: Tapped Out Beginner’s Guide
So are you beginning The Simpsons: Tapped Out? Starting the game can be hard when you don’t know what you are doing and might waste precise donuts without knowing what to do. That’s why we are here to give you some tips and tricks to beginning your Tapped Out city right without wasting a single donut if you don’t really have to.
Learning about the game
Before starting the game there are a few things you need to know. The Simpsons: Tapped Out items are separated into two different sets, Buildings and Decorations
Buildings
Buildings are the key to playing The Simpsons: Tapped Out, and rebuilding your Springfield town. Building will do a few things for you including help you earn money in The Simpsons: Tapped Out. Each building has their own earning rate, which means it will earn a certain amount every few minutes, hours or days. Remember that you need to collect your earnings for you to actually earn more.
Some buildings does not only earn you money some of them unlocks you special Tapped Out characters that Homer Simpson blew away, such as Ned Flanders, Apu, Lisa, Bart, Krusty and the list goes on. By purchasing special character building you will be able to unlock all the characters in the game and earn much more money with more characters working for you.
Decorations
The Simpsons: Tapped Out decorations are not only simply items that will make your town look prettier and cooler yet they also increase your income taxes and earnings. That’s right, buy decorating your Tapped Out town you are giving yourself the abilities to earn much more money without having to purchase expensive homes or unlocking another character. So be sure to use the decorations to your advantages and read what they have to offer by tapping the blue circle information icon.
Starting
If you are just beginning the game there are a few things you should remember during the tutorials. During the tutorial when you first begin the game they will teach you many things about purchasing and moving items. When they tell you to send Lisa into the Kwik-E-Mart do not use your donuts to rush any of the tutorials from then forth and you would have saved yourself a couple of donuts for future use.
In-game Currencies
In the world of The Simpsons: Tapped Out there are two currencies, cash and donuts. If you want to continue to play this game you must understand the importance of these two currencies or you can easily waste tons of premium currency ruthlessly.
Donuts are the premium currency in the game and can only be obtained through special conditions in The Simpsons: Tapped Out or purchasing them with real life money. That’s what makes these donuts so valuable. In The Simpsons: Tapped Out you can use donuts to speed up job times, building time, and most importantly purchase exclusive premium items that normal players can’t have.
Cash on the other hand are normal income you gain from houses or your character’s daily job. You can use cash to buy other buildings and advance yourself but you cannot use them to rush the timer or buy premium items. You earn cash through two ways, once is called income taxes through your buildings while the other is through your character’s daily job which are income. You cannot use cash to buy donuts.
Slowing down for Quests
The Simpsons: Tapped Out players often get stuck on a quest and wonder why they can’t purchase the next building but there’s a simple answer to that. The quests and buildings are developed in a systematic order, meaning you must complete quest 1 before you can go to quest 2. Skipping quests will just hurt you in the end because that will not allow you to satisfy the condition built directly into the game. If you find yourself really stuck to the point where you don’t see new quests popping up then chances are you are tapping your Tapped Out characters too quickly or you have encountered a bug. Try to leave all your character out of their quests and let them walk around, some times they need to talk to other people and interact to actually get the quests going. Sending them directly into a 24-hour quest after a 24-hour quest will just make it hard for you.
Add Friends
Adding friends in your Origin account is another way to gain more income. By having other players help you clean out your earnings while you are away will allow you to earn more in a shorter amount of time. This is a social game so you should definitely socialize in your game and get to know players. You can use the Gameteep Forums group for that, build up your social army for any game and earn credits.
