Thor: The Dark World – The Official Game Gameplay
The gameplay of Thor: The Dark World is separated into different tasks in various worlds. There are essentially two time of stage, ATTACK and DEFENSE. You must complete the stage according to the requirement to beat the stage.
ATTACK Stages
Attack stages are stages within a world where your objective is to attack the enemy base – and destroy it. You will venture through the entire level with your army and try to take down the terminal at the end.
DEFENSE Stages
Defense stages are very different from Attack stages because the objective is based on sustaining your position within an area while enemies are rushing towards your team. There is generally a timer and you don’t need to destroy anything, you will just need to wait until the timer ends.
Controls
Much of the Thor character is controlled through tapping or just holding your finger down on the position you want to move and attack. There’s no much to controls other than that.
Armors and Weapons
Collectors can be happy to see that like Iron Man 3 - The Official Game, you will be able to collect various armors and weapons that allows you to customize Thor.

Without a doubt that the graphics in Thor: The Dark World is absolutely amazing for a mobile game. However, it seems like the norm today for Gameloft so it was certainly expected to have good graphics.

There are audio and good soundtrack for the entire game that makes it feel alive. It’s always good to see mobile game push towards console quality in terms of audio and voice-cinematics. Personally, I still can’t stand those that don’t and plays like the 90s. I don’t have anything against them but it’s just more pleasing to hear something.

Overall the game is quite pleasing if you are a mobile gamer that just looks at taking their time on playing through stages. Like all free-to-play mobile games, you are restricted by the amount of the game you can play at once. If you want to continue the game quicker, you need to train or pay for premium currency to upgrade your character.
Much of the game revolves around tapping or dragging your character so it does not require much effort to play. This also means that players looking to perform some supermoves from a combination of swipe and taps will be disappointed. Although this makes the game much easier to play and adopt.
All in all, this is a fan-based game where you get good graphics and collectible armor and weapons. The stages gets harder but if you take the time to play it and train your character you’ll do just fine.
Bottom line: If you are a Marvel fan then this is a must have game for your device.
