EA [Electronic Arts] sure isn’t stopping with their line of fun apps. After the release of their popular new app The Simpsons: Tapped Out they just made Fly With Me free for today! Fly With Me lets you guide your birds through the skies chopping evil bees and collecting stars and gears to increase your points. The first thing you notice when you start playing the game is that you can fly super high within a few taps of the screen. So be sure to carefully tap it to ensure you can chop evil bees and collect those stars. This might sound like a simple game of just collecting items but be warned that it’s not going to be a simple fly, you will find trees, holes, branches, and many different objects that will stop your way from reaching the goal.

So how does Fly With Me play? Well it’s simple, you tap on your bird to have them fly higher or let them fall. Remember there are also special bonuses that help you on your way to the finish point, find gust of winds and cruise through places like no other! Keep in mind that there are gusts of wind and riding winds. To be able to successfully follow the wind you must fly towards the gust of wind where they look like a bulk of wind together. Aside from tapping and flying you will find that Fly With Me has some great sound tracks to keep the beat and help you fly all the way to the end without boring you during your flight.

Do keep in mind that this game is free for today and you should get it from your iTunes just in case it changes back to a buck the next day. Happy Flying.

If you haven’t tried Sea Stars then you should definitely download it now, it’s free at the moment and god knows for how long. It was $1.99 before. When you start playing this game you will find that the characters in here are extremely cute and might we even say has some magic to it. There are over 10 different characters to choose from and each character will make your heart content with their great design and high resolution graphics.

Gameplay

If you enjoy games like Sonic or Sharks then you would definitely enjoy Sea Stars. It combines speedy jumping with many special moves that makes your gameplay unique. Jumping is not the only thing you do, you can also collect special bonuses that gives your partner some special abilities like flying, rocket burst and so forth. On top of that, each time you jump you have the possibility of collecting birds of the rainbow. Once you have collected all the colors you will be protected by a rainbow of birds and the scorching sun. It’s quite the effect actually, check out the Gameteep app demo to see it.

The Blocks Cometh shoots like Mega Man

The Blocks Cometh by Halfbot is a new twist to the old tetris in a Mega Man style app. Yes Mega Man! You will more than likely start off with a Blue armor 16-bit character with the ability to shoot from his arm, though it will be difficult to tell but he will be able to shoot. Don’t worry shooting won’t be the only thing you will be able to do. You will also be able to double jump and slide on walls for the time being. As you progress through the game you will unlock other characters that plays similar but have different abilities to the Mega Man style character, which is actually named “Blockman”. Two of our favorite characters are Leaper, a character with two lightsabers built into his arms that does a spinning attack and Jim Sterling. Jim Sterling is a man in black that throws a mic to break blocks and he does it with style!

Gameplay
When you first enter the stage you would think your job is to destroy the blocks from gathering to the top right? It would be a simple tetris game with a shooter character if that was the case. Fortunately it is not. Your job in this game is not to destroy the flying blocks but yet let them pile up, and actually try to survive by climbing to the top as the blocks at the bottom gets eaten up. Sounds easy right? Well it’s not that easy because the blocks often pile up in a way that almost kills you but don’t worry you can double jump or shoot them out of your way but that’s not the only thing that will kill you. If you fall to the bottom while the blocks are being crushed you will also be crushed along with them.

Characters
Currently, there are 9 characters to choose from. Each with a different skill that will make your gameplay very different. You can either be the shooter from Blockman or be a melee lightsaber spinner as Leaper. These characters do make a difference in terms of the amount of damage that is done to the blocks so be intelligent on who you choose. You can either shoot 2-3 times to kill a block or slice them up in one hit.

Super KO Boxing 2 is an extremely fun punching app that just went free for a limited time. Now you can be in the boxing ring punching your way to victory on your Apple device. Once you entered the ring with the opposing fighter it is very simple to get the hang of of playing this game. The punching buttons are on the right side while the dodge left and dodge right button are on your left. The punching buttons are separated into three components, Punch Left, Punch Right and super. While you punch your enemy, a meter bar will fill up and once it does you can launch your ultimate knock-out attack. But that’s not all! Don’t forget you can also fly in from the right or left after you have dodged! After you have dodged left or right you can immediately punch your opponent using a flying punch if you are quick.
