It’s extremely hard to compare the graphics between one another for Dragon City and Dragon Story because Dragon Story uses a water color type of cartoon-style drawings. On the other hand, Dragon City has a very lively cartoons with dragons flying around and most of the details on the graphics are high.
That being said, Dragon Story has animations in waters and just the surroundings of the island while Dragon City does not. In Dragon City, the graphics are more focused on the animations and body parts of the dragons. You will notice that on certain dragons, you will find fire flaming from their wings while water running from their bodies so the graphics in Dragon City are really focused on the dragons.

Dragon Story has a focus on creating cute and adorable dragons while players will find the dragons in Dragon City to be extremely cool. Both focuses on very different aspects and if you take two dragons from both Dragon City and Dragon Story you’ll notice that the dragons for Dragon City are highly detailed down to its skin.

The biggest parts to the dragons in Dragon City is that there are animations within its body parts which simply makes the dragons move lively. On top of that most of the dragon breaths in Dragon City are extremely cool while Dragon Story is missing dragon breaths.
Similarities in both games are the dragon eggs and some of the elements. However, Dragon Story does have 4 forms and requires the evolution temple to evolve while the dragons in Dragon City only has 3 forms and does not require anything to evolve.
Dragon City VS Dragon Story Sound
Both have good soundtracks. Dragon City has a soundtrack that feels as if you are in the nature while Dragon Story has a pretty adventurous music.
