The Aurora Dragon in Dragon Story is the first Triple element dragon in Dragon Story. We’ve seen hybrids but this is the first three elements consisting of Green, Purple, and Blue that was released on November 8 2012.
This dragon features a green and purple-ish design that looks similar to a lizard (snake) but with horns and purple hair. Once this dragon grows and evolves into its epic form it’s one spectacular beast to have in your Dragon Story Isles.

Dragon Story: Aurora Dragon breeding guide
To breed the Aurora Dragon, it is recommended you use the Poison Dragon and the Water Dragon. The breeding time for this dragon is 15 hours, so if you get a 15 hours breeding time then you have a Aurora dragon breeding in your isle!
Other combinations include
- Water Dragon + Familiar Dragon
- Water Dragon + Poison Dragon
- Forest Dragon + Coral Dragon (Confirmed)
- Forest Dragon + Wizard dragon
- Forest Dragon + Mistmoth dragon
- Forest Dragon + Aether dragon
With the breeding combinations in hand, keep in mind that breeding is completely up to your luck in the game and for them to give you the dragon. The Rarity will help you understand your chances but it will ultimately be up to your game.
The breeding order of left or right in the breeding den does not matter. The Level of your breeding dragon also do not matter.
Dragon Story: Aurora Dragon Evolution Guide
The Dragon Story Aurora Dragon will have four forms. He will evolve into his second form at level 4. Once you have leveled him to level 6 you will need to use the evolution temple where you will need to further evolve him for the other evolutions.
At level 9 you will evolve your creature into its most powerful and final form called Epic.
Egg – The egg is what is revealed to the players after they have completed the breeding process. You may place this egg into a Nest for hatching.
Baby – The baby form is hatched from the egg and is the youngest form of the entire evolution process.
Teen – Teen is the evolved form of your baby creature. You can evolve your dragon at level 4 without using the evolution chamber on Apple devices, while on Android you must use the evolution chamber. You will be able to breed after they have reached level 4.
Adult – The adult stage is a almost full grown dragon in Dragon Story. You can evolve your dragons at the end of level 6 where he will need to use the evolution chamber to become an adult.
Epic – The epic form is the final and most powerful form of them all. Embodied with powers of their representing elemental colors, the epic form is filled with great design and represents the full grown evolution of your dragon. You can evolve your Adult Dragon into Epic Dragon at level 9.

First I got (another) Atlantis. Its breeding time is also 15 hours and it has blue and green elements so don’t be too happy before you see the egg.. :p

I put in a purple and a green blue hybrid before and I didn't even know about this I got back on Dragon Story had an egg in the nursery sold it and the egg waiting was the aurora dragon.This was before the dragon was around.
If u have the aether dragon use it with forest it works I got 3 of them each first try!

Bred a magic level 4 and serpent level 7 and got aurora on my first try. So excited! I love auroras!!
Keep getting stupid poison and wizard…. The first poison and wizard were a plus because I didn’t have them, but now it’s a pain because of the long breeding time. Was doing coral and forest. Now when I’m done breeding this stupid poison, I’ll try poison and water… Wish me luck:)

I got my aurora dragon using lotus and forest first try
No matter what I do, I cant’t seem to breed the aurora or the diamond. When I try and breed the aurora, all I get is the island and I’ve bred two tropical dragons, I don’t get it. I’m breeding the poison and the water and the breeding time is 18h? What’s this going to be?
I give up on trying for both Diamond and Aurora since I never have any luck. 18 hours is Familiar Dragon.

This dragon is driving me crazy. I have been trying off and on for months to breed it. I have tried forest and coral, poison and water, aether and forest, and wizard and forest and so far nothing has worked. I have gotten tons of island, poison, and Atlantis dragons in my pursuit of the Aurora dragon! Just goes to show how much of the breeding process is luck. Crossing my fingers that I get it soon!!!
