Dragon Story: Mistmoth Dragon
The Mistmoth Dragon was released with the Forestfire Dragon for Dragon Story players on June 14 2012. This mistmoth dragon is an magical dragon but looks very similar to the fairy dragon, in fact it looks like a recolor of the fairy dragon in purple. However, unlike the fairy dragon this dragon is super rare to get in Dragon Story, which means players have difficult breeding the mistmoth dragon. Like all magic dragons the Mistmoth Dragon looks similar to all purple dragons with purple skin and design. Some players may mistake the Mistmoth dragon as the magic dragon at first but he definitely looks different from the magic dragon when he evolves into his epic form.
If you want to breed the mistmoth dragon for your Dragon Story island then know that it’s a water and magic type dragon, which means it’s blue and purple. Once you know this then you can breed any two dragons with the elements of blue and purple for a chance to get the mistmoth dragon for your Dragon Story island. When you do know that the mistmoth dragon egg is 12 hours and it looks absolutely amazing and fit for any great player in Dragon Story.

The Mistmoth Dragon is an amazing creature for any Dragon Story. You can get a Mistmoth Dragon by breeding a Water-type dragon and the Magic-type Dragon together in the breeding den. Please keep in mind this is a rare dragon and you may not be getting him on your first try. The left or right of the dragon in the breeding process does not matter and your dragons must be at least level 4 to be able to breed. The breeding combination for the Mistmoth Dragon is Magic Dragon and Water Dragon. Left or Right and the Level of your dragons does not matter.
Dragon Story: Mistmoth Dragon Evolution Guide
The Dragon Story Mistmoth Dragon will have four forms. He will evolve into his second form at level 4. Once you have leveled him to level 6 you will need to use the evolution temple where you will need to further evolve him for the other evolutions.

I used Magic and Water both times it is random however I got the coral first breed, Mistmoth second and another Wizard dragon being breed I am working on the Night Elf Dragon though 🙁

i got it after 20 tries… i used the coral dragon on level 10 and the water dragon on level 8! 😀

I got it on the first try :O Actually, I was trying to get a coral 😛 But it was the same thing with the Island dragon, I just couldn't get it, kept getting the atlantis and serpent dragon instead 😛

I believe I am breeding a Mistmoth by accident right now. Could be a Firestorm but it’s unlikely due to the color combo… Breeding a Level 8 Firestorm “Spark” (on left) / 7 Island “Cyan” (on right)
Nope, it was in fact another Firestorm. I should have known the firestorm would be possible, since people say they get the Scorpion with that combo. Which so far I’ve tried nearly 40 times and can’t get a Scorpion!
Try a Firestorm with another fire, then click boosted breed. Or a Firestorm and Firestorm, if you have Honeybee or Eagle, try those twi together or with a Firestorm. Scorpion was one of the first rare dragons I got, but that could be luck. I have night (coral 7 and water 7) and a bunch of other awesome dragons. If you know how to get LeftHeart, Four Leaf, Mistmoth, or Diamond please help me out. I’ll help you back!

Got one while trying to get an aurora dragon. Coral+ forest!! You can get it as long as you put the elements water and magic in it.

Got one on first try! 🙂 In my experience, I’ve found that I get the most success breeding SUPER-RARE dragons by combining COMMON dragons.
Here’s some that I successfully bred & the combos I used:
Magic dragon + Water dragon = MISTMOTH DRAGON
Fire dragon + Life dragon = TURKEY DRAGON
Fire dragon + Air dragon = HONEYBEE DRAGON
Anytime I used any rare dragons in my breedings I had no success. It could be a coincidence but so far its worked for me 🙂
