The Gold Dragon was released into DragonVale players game on July 12 2012 and this dragon is a brand new element dragon named the “Treasure” element. Yes, there is a Treasure Habitat, and maybe soon a flag also.
This Gold Dragon is a special dragon that you’ve never seen before, an amazing new design based on the coins in your DragonVale and made entire out of golden scales. The gold dragon is definitely the most sought after dragon ever to have been released to DragonVale players.
To breed the Gold Dragon in DragonVale, you must know that the gold dragon actually has the elements of Fire and Metal. Much like the Sun and Moon Dragon which can only be bred using elements of Lightning and Cold. This Gold Dragon means you must use a combination that includes fire and metal. You can either use hybrids or use the main dragon it represents, which are Fire Dragon and the Metal Dragon.
Regardless of whichever method you choose, you must be at least level 17 to unlock the Metal dragon and breed for the Gold Dragon. Once you have bred a metal and fire dragon together, look for a 48 hours breeding process which represents the gold dragon. Upon breeding the gold dragon you will get a golden scale egg when hatched you can place the gold dragon into your new treasure habitat.
