The DragonVale Air dragon is one of the core elements in DragonVale. You can only obtain the air dragon at level 14 and using the breeding guide shown for the air dragon. You can also purchase this air dragon for 500 Gems in the market place.

Cold Dragon Breeding Guide
The cold dragon in dragonvale is considered the fourth core element dragon because it is the fourth element you obtain as you level your islands. His icy cold appearance will send chills down chest and when you buy him a cold habitat he will blend right into the white and blue habitat that you might miss him some times. The cold dragon can only be purchased and can some times be bred if you combine a Cold Dragon with another dragon.

Earth Dragon Breeding Guide
The second elemental core dragons in DragonVale. The earth dragon is dubbed that because he is the second dragon you hatch in DragonVale through it’s tutorials. As you first look at this dragon you may feel that he earns much less from the other dragons such as the Plant dragon but you will notice that his habitat holds a huge amount. For players that do not login on DragonVale much, that’s definitely a plus but while for players that do, you’ll wonder to yourself why it’s taking so long for this dragon to reach it’s max cashout.

The shocker, or lightning element dragon, is the fifth core elemental dragon in DragonVale. He can be purchased in the market for 75,000 and only fits into it’s own elemental habitat, the Lightning Habitat. This lightning dragon is known for fighting for it’s territories and being one of the most fierce dragons of them all, you can read all about the lightning dragon’s story in the lightning shrine.

Plant Dragon Breeding Guide
The Plant Dragon is considered the first core elemental dragons because the plant dragon is the very first dragon you raise in DragonVale and can be purchased for such a small amount. The plant dragon also gives you one of the best coins per minute in the game but is held back by the Plant Habitat which maxes out at 500 cash.

Water Dragon Breeding Guide
The sixth core element dragon you obtain in DragonVale, the water dragon is one of the most unique dragons in the entire game. The Water dragon with his Water habitat, he can swim in the water. He is also one of the few dragons that do not fly at all – the only dragon that does not fly. As you see from his appearance he has no wings yet fins which allows him to swim anywhere.
