The Diamond Dragon in DragonVale is the April Gemstone dragon in DragonVale. The Diamond Dragon appears each month of April for players to breed their special birthstone dragons in their very own DragonVale park. If you are born in April this Diamond Dragon is definitely one dragon you won’t want to miss for your DragonVale park!

Diamond Dragon breeding guide:

There is no confirmed combination but the level requirement is level 17 which means there must be a metal element within the breeding combination.

 

You need to breed the Mine Dragon and the Ice Dragon in the breeding tree or breeding cave for a chance to get the Diamond Dragon.

You can still breed the dragon using your breeding cave but it is most recommended that you use your breeding island for higher chances of getting the Diamond Dragon.

Keep in mind that when breeding dragons, the breeding left and right does not matter. The Level of your dragons also does not matter. Breeding dragons is up to chance and it is proven that the Epic Breeding Island will give breeders a better chance at getting more rare dragons oppose to the breeding cave.

    I’ve been trying to get my Diamond Dragon with level 14 Ice Dragon and Lvl 14 Mine Dragon at a Enchanted Breeding Cave and Upgraded Breeding Island too, but no luck, any suggestions?

    Has anyone else had trouble trying to breed a diamond dragon? I have so far got 6 silver dragons and no diamond dragon.. I’ve been trying since the start of the month and it’s really starting to frustrate me lol

    I haven’t kept count but it’s got to be at least 20 attempts with both cave and island as I have 2 ice and mine. I’ve got 2 silver at least and the rest quicksilver, ice, mine, iceberg and rust. At least I’m building up my level up shrines quickly for cold and metal.
