DragonVale: Lichen Dragon
The Lichen Dragon in DragonVale is one of the most unexpected dragons to be released for DragonVale players. The Lichen Dragon is a combination of Cold and Plant and for many months DragonVale players thought that the Reindeer dragon was the only Cold and Plant dragon but no more! The Lichen Dragon is here to stay and it looks absolutely amazing.

You can expect the lichen dragon to look similar to the cold and plant dragons but of course it will have it’s own unique design. If you want to breed one of these lichen dragons then be sure to use a good cold and plant element dragon then breed them together for a chance to get a lichen dragon. Remember that just breeding the cold and plant dragon may not achieve a lichen dragon so be sure to use some hybrids if you find yourself unsuccessful at breeding the lichen dragon.
When you breed which ever cold and plant dragon you can expect to to achieve the lichen dragon if you have a six hours incubation time. That means as long as you bred a plant and cold dragon and that it’s 6 hours there is a high percentage chance that you have yourself a lichen dragon breeding in your DragonVale park.

Our wizards say that the unique substance growing on them is some sort of strange plant that feeds the dragons using sunlight. Or something. I didn’t really understand it myself. To get and breed a lichen dragon, as stated above, you need to use the lichen dragon’s main elements which are cold and plant elements. You can use any cold and plant element to breed a lichen dragon, the most recommended combination for breeding a lichen dragon is cold dragon and plant dragon.
