Fallon’s Fury Gameplay

In the game Fallon’s Fury, the player assumes the role of Fallon, a two-headed giant. Your goal is to run through the village and make it to the castle that is nearby. Fallon’s Fury is a third-person game and you can see Fallon as he runs through the village. The object of the game is to destroy as many things in your path as possible until you make it to the castle. Fallon runs automatically and the controls are touch-screen. You can move Fallon from side-to-side and you can destroy things by simply tapping them. There is only one stage and it takes about one minute to run through it. As you go through the stage, you can destroy anything in path including animals, villagers, and houses. Sometimes you will run past a club that you can pick up and use in your path of destruction. Once you approach the castle, the King’s army will start launching catapults at you and you must dodge them. Fallon’s Fury is a relatively short, simple yet addicting game. Although there is only one stage, you can play it over and over, trying to top your highest score. The controls are so simple that gamers of any age can play the game. Although it is semi-violent, there is no blood or graphic gore. You may have to run through the stage a couple of times before you get the hang of the controls but once you know what you’re doing, prepare for getting lost in hours of smashing fun.

Fallon’s Fury Graphics

The graphics in Fallon’s Fury reflect the age of Nintendo 64/Playstation. They are not as sharp as you would find in a more modern, console game such as Grand Theft Auto 4 but for a mobile device, they are not bad. Although they are a little bulky and choppy, you barely notice it as you run through the stage so quickly and are distracted by trying to destroy as much as you can. Once you make it to the castle at the end there is a murmurous cut-scene where Fallon runs inside and throws the soldiers over the wall. The color scheme of the game is dark, forest-like colors but again, it fits in with the storyline.

Fallon’s Fury Sounds

There are some exciting soundtracks but the game is way too short to enjoy any of it.

Fallon’s Fury Round-up

Overall, Fallon’s Fury is a worthwhile download. While it may not appeal to those who desire longer games, it is a great way to pass time when you are waiting for something or are bored. Although the one stage it comes with is short, the object of the game is addicting enough to make you want to replay it over and over. The nature of the game also makes it a great stress-reliever. Fallon’s Fury is a free download for all Apple devices and is definitely worth checking out. It has gotten good reviews on the app store as well as this review.

Bottom line: The game feels unfinished but still gives players a quick action running experience.
