Motor City: Car Factory is a strategy/tycoon game developed and released by Mobage, Inc. Motor City: Car Factory is similar to the games Castle Champions and Tiny Tower in the sense that is a building type of game in which you oversee the creation of an empire, in this case, cars. While this game isn’t the worst game in the world it isn’t going to appeal to a lot of gamers. If you are a gamer who has the patience for a strategy/tycoon game then Motor City: Car Factory is worth checking out.

Motor World: Car Factory Gameplay
The gameplay of Motor City: Car Factory is similar to many management system games that are already available in some games. The goal of the game is to become the ultimate car dealer. You begin the game by building two basic types of cars while you work to unlock other models. Ultimately, you can begin to make original cars from all different parts. The game borrows the “em all” slogan from Pokemon by donning that you “gotta build em all.”
When you first open the game it will take you through a short tutorial on building two cars. The concept of the game is to tap where you want your employees to go and what you want them to do. It can be a bit boring and basic as you are just starting out. You will also get to step into the shoes of a car dealer once the cars are manufactured by putting them out on the lot and negotiating their prices. In the end however, it is basically a case of repetition.
The game promises to become more exciting the more you play but it easy to quickly lose interest, especially if you’re into action games or games with a fast-paced theme. However, if you do have the patience to play this game, it might appeal to those who enjoy strategy and tycoon games. This game might also be a good pick for younger gamers who are just starting out and cannot handle advanced controls. The most you have to do is this game is tap and click.
There is also the option to play with your friends on multiplayer, which makes the game slightly cooler for those who don’t like to play alone.
Motor World: Car Factory Graphics
The graphics in Motor City: Car Factory aren’t bad but they aren’t good. The graphics are basically sprites that belong in a Super Nintendo game. However, that is essentially the aim of the developers to pull of a “MineCraft” like game so MC players would be interested in this style of graphics.
They are colorful and visually appealing and give the game a cartoon-like feel that I think the developers were aiming for. The graphics might not be as crisp as some of the other mobile games that are available out there but I think the developers were focusing more on the game itself rather than the graphics.
Motor World: Car Factory Sounds
The music is probably categorized as general. There’s not much excitement going on here and there shouldn’t be.
Motor World: Car Factory Round-up
Overall, Motor City: Car Factory is a good game for those who aren’t used to fast-paced action games or for those who are just learning how to play games. The gameplay can get a bit boring after a while or at least until you can unlock all of the cars to begin creating your own. However, this game does get a lot of credit for its complexity in strategy. Hopefully the developers will have more to offer in the future.
Bottom line: If you like Minecraft then you’ll probably like this game.
