Thanks to its shifting eyes and mouth as it gurgles forth its song, it might appear sad when really it’s happy, or afraid when it’s actually having a blast. This makes sense, since it embodies the essence of shadow – always a bit obscured, and able to unnerve even the most interpid of monsters.

My Singing Monsters: Grumpyre Monster breeding guide

You must first obtain the breeding structure at level 7 to be able to breed for this Grumpyre Monster. Without the breeding structure, you can also purchase this monster for diamonds.

 

There is a 1% chance to get the Grumpyre Monster and exactly 4 combinations. Combinations not tested!

Keep in mind that breeding the monsters left or right does not matter. And that if you are not getting the monsters then you must continue trying until your game gives you the correct breeding time. Breeding is ultimately up to chance and you may get multiple monsters depending on their rarity.

    Hey just a quick tip, make sure you have enough beds in your castle before you attempt to breed as well. I’ve noticed in the past that sometimes that will prohibit you from breeding the monster you want. Also copy and paste my referral code, we will both get 5 diamonds :)

      I actually was able to get a Grumpyre with a Deedge & Congle and I had all of my beds full (of course, I had to sell some of my critters before I could place him) But, just as an fyi, you don`t need to clear your beds before he`s bred.

    I don’t understand how you get all monsters on each site. For instance a noggin, or drumpler on the cold site or a tweedle on the first (plant? Earth?) Site. Can they be put somewhere different if you remove them from the gold site and would you lose your gold that you got when they were placed there?

      Your monster will stay on the island it hatches on. When you feed a monster up to level 15, you may “place” it on the Gold Island- however, it`s more like sending its essence to the Gold Island, as it remains on its original island, collecting money. The only way you can remove a monster from an island is to sell it.

    Yo Check out the youtube video for a hacked friend code That gives you 999, 999, 999 gems and has proof in the video!!! Trust me it works! You need to use referal not invite friend!     Grumpyres seem to be very easy to breed for me for some reason. I have two of them already, and am in the process of breeding a third one. They were all bred using a combination of a Deedge and a Bowgart. In contrast to this, I’m still waiting for my first Reebro and have only one Ghazt.

    Deege and Spunge both level 6 got me a Grumpyre! Interesting to note that I also bred a Shugabush on Plant Island (level 14 Clamble level 15 Bowgart- twenty tries) and then a Riff on Air Island (level 4 Congle and level 4 trox) ALL IN THE SAME EVENING. I got the Shugabush going and thought for laughs I would try the other islands. Must be a cycled thing because, really, all at once?

    I just got this monster. I used deejay ( sorry if not spelled right) and bowgart. I was using deejay and congle and it just wasn’t working after weeks of using that combo the first time I try deejay and bowgart I get this monster..I am very happy…now to work on the next…=)

    Hey guys, I recently bought the ice island (I think that’s what it’s called) and I have been playing for only a week and a bit. I have been trying to breed a ghazt on plant island using an entbrat and a T-rox, I’ve tried like 5 times but nothing. I will keep trying though, because 5 times is nothing compared to what you guys have done. My goal is to level it up and teleport that little treasure over to ethereal island, and then do the same with a grumpyre and start breeding. What combination should I use to get this grumpyre?     Lol, i was randomly breeding my monsters, and did the Thumpies with the Deedge and bred them, then i looked at how long it would take, it was around one day. “what o.o” i used my diamonds and sped up the breeding process, it was a black egg with horns, it eventuley hatched at a grumpyre, first try with out trying XD
