Dragon City Mobile is a Facebook game by Social Point but made available on mobile devices. It is a dragon breeding game that simulates collecting elemental dragons and building your very own city of dragons.
The game is features an enormous selection of dragons you can obtain through “breeding”. Like similar dragon breeding games, Dragon City takes a similar approach but is more focused on developing cool creatures you can breed and collect. It has some of the “coolest” dragon designs in any breeding game for mobile devices today.

Dragon City Mobile Gameplay
For veteran players, the gameplay of Dragon City should be a walk in the park. However, new players will need help understanding some of the key components in the game. Dragon City Mobile is a builder game and that means you’re going to be mostly trying to build the best city possible using a number of different features in the game. Some of the features in the game are listed below.
Breeding Dragons
The key feature to the game is dragons, and being able to breed dragons. In the game, there are at least 9 different element of dragons you can combine and make cool hybrid dragons in the game.
Dragon Battles
The second best feature in the game is the ability to use your dragons to battle other dragons for gems or other goods. In today’s market, no other dragon breeding game has this feature and it is quite a good one.
Other common features
- Habitats – Habitats for your dragons to earn money
- Buildings - Farms and other goodies that help you grow your island
- Decorations – Like all builder games, there’s decorations for you to decorate your island.
Dragon City Mobile Graphics
The graphics in Dragon City are not as sharp as the ones on Facebook. Sometimes you’ll notice they’re quite blurry depending on effects and dragons. Nevertheless, the dragons are cool and beautifully designed and take a cartoon-style design.
One of the best parts about the graphics in Dragon City is that they’re animated and the animations are simply amazing.
Dragon City Mobile Sounds
The soundtrack in Dragon City is beautiful. Although the sound effects sound “desktop” like it probably doesn’t really matter to most people. There are also different sounds for dragon growls.
Dragon City Mobile Round-up
We played this game for quite a while before writing this review. We found some major good and bad points that we’ll share with you so you’ll better understand the game.
The game was released on Facebook first so it’s more or less a Facebook game and although this mobile version isn’t an exact port with all the features, it’s still well developed for mobile devices. Hopefully they add all the features before the final release. That being said, it still packs quite a bit of features in the mobile app. One of the features is the social battle system which almost no other breeding game has!
First, we’d like to warn players that this is a Facebook game which means you will need to invite friends and ask them for help. This is one of the major weaknesses to this game because you will heavily rely on Facebook to get the game moving once you get to higher levels. An example is the Ice Habitat and Metal Habitat. After buying the habitats, you need to hire friends to open these habitats which make it pointless to purchasing it. This gets worse as you advance in the game.
The biggest disappointment is that you need to invite “new” players into the game for some buildings. I’m not sure if it’s a glitch but that’s what we’ve experienced. For some buildings you cannot select friends that are already playing Dragon City but only get new ones that aren’t. So that means adding Dragon City friends will only go so far and that you’ll need to invite new ones.
Despite all that, Dragon City Mobile is still a great game with many features. The best thing about the game is that it’s very fair in terms of difficulty. It is like a clash between DragonVale and Dragon Story, where you’ll be able to breed cool dragons easily by understanding their elements and you can advance through the game without spending an insane amount of gold or gems. They even give you gems at every level up or you can battle for them!
Overall, the only thing that holds the game back is the restrictive portion to the Facebook social network. If the game is based on Game Center or their own social platform then it’ll attract more players.
Bottom line: Dragon City has the coolest dragons with breathtaking animations.

Its only in the AppStore of Canadá , i alredy have it, its very cool i love it,
This app is only available in the Canada App Store! I got this app by switching my App Store location from us to Canada but you will need a Canadian address which I just went to for sale homes and did it that way lol.. These dragon breeding games are addicting but it gets hard after a while when you don’t have friends that play the game because you will need them.

I signed in to face book and I was on level14 all12 of my dragons on level 7 one on 10 and a baby ice dragon going to hatch and one being ready to put in the hatchery 12gems and then I decided hey why not log in to facebook and get some gems so my other dragon can start hatching and the whole frickin game disappears and I’m on level one again and I was working so hard for a week to get there did my homework to play it that’s the only thing I would do all night and you flickin take it all away !!!!!!!!!!!
