Looks like Ice Age Village has also joined the Christmas season with a brand new update with some pretty cool new animals and items for you to play during the holidays.
The update brings 5 new animals for you to collect for your village and some of them are quite the beast. These animals include the following:
- cool Dire Wolf
- night loving Bat
- Highly sought after Black Panther
- Badger
- and the Tapir

How do we get help for a bad update ? We have downloaded , installed , and even rebooted the iphones (iOS 6.0.1) we have and cannot use the new Xmas update . Normally this would not be an issue but we have been playing daily long enough to already have over 110 days straight and do not want to loose our place for extras nor loose any of our village .

I’m in the same situation as Chuck. Cannot play Ice Village after downloading the new update…keeps bumping me off and I have been playing daily for months.
At Level 53 and downloaded the Dec 20 update and the game has crashed. Can’t find any assistance from Gameloft but apparently from their blog it has happened to a lot of people! Really annoyed as this is the second time it has happened to me!! Last time also reached a high level, downloaded an update and the game crashed. Not good enough Gameloft. The game may be free but I have bought acorns. Shan’t be starting from scratch again and will be warning friends about dodgy Gameloft updates.

Same here. Extremely frustrating as I doubt they’ll fix the issue any time soon and probably too let to do us any good
i’m having the same problem too. i recently updated my IOS to 6.0.2. is that an issue with the latest ice age update?
I’m having the same situation, wave downloaded the update last night and now it won’t load after the progress bar just exits back to the main iphone screens

not a happy Christmas in this household….!
I have been at level 60 for a couple of months. Was looking forward to the update, but mine also is crashing. At level 60 I was not getting any mail. No hearts from my friends!
The update wont work properly on ipad, no xmas trees, just half the stuff works.
On iphone after the latest update it wont even load.

Twas the night before Christmas, and all thru our house,
Ice Age Village was as dead as a mouse.
A promising update with new animals galore,
just a click away at the Gameloft store.
But what do my wondering eyes should appear?
The game wouldn’t load on my screen, oh the fear!
I was on level 60, with coins and acorns replete,
With all of my animal families complete.
Questions and frustrations bombarded Gameloft’s blog,
Page after page of complaints filled their log.
But as they explained, as they kept out of sight,
“Thanks for your comments, and have a good night!”
Hasn’t worked since update.
