Monster Match Gameplay
The gameplay in Monster Match is similar to other familiar puzzle games and isn’t difficult to understand or get the hang of in a short period of time. It’s separated into developing your cards and mostly battling your way through stages in the island in what is known to be the puzzle battles.
CAPTURING MONSTERS
One of the great features of Monster Match is the ability to obtain new monsters as you battle your way through the game. It’s similar to Pokemon but you’re not going to use a Pokeball but gem battles which gives you a chance to nab one of those mystical creatures you want.
EVOLVING YOUR MONSTERS
There are tons of stuff you can do in the game and one of the cool features that all players love is seeing their cute adorable beginner monsters evolve into a fierce powerful monster that’ll help you in your battles.
GEM PUZZLE BATTLES
This part is probably the exciting portion of the game because this is where the action is happening. The puzzle is fairly straight forward and most players will probably know what to do when they begin because the tutorial showed the nuts and bolts of what you’re suppose to do for the gems.
If you’ve missed it then your task is to swipe the same colored gems and connect them. They can connect in almost any direction as long as they are connected to one another. The gems will explode and the monster with the same colored gem will attack in your game.

The graphics in the game are vibrant and colorful. They are simply captivating and anyone that has had a history with collecting monsters or mystical creature will feel right at home looking at the creatures in the game.

Monster Match is a joyful game for players that like a clash between puzzle and collecting cool mystical creatures. Due to that aspect the game must be connected to the internet when you play which makes the game less puzzle-based but is based on collecting and battles with a Puzzle battle system.
If it weren’t for the absolute requirement to connect the game to the internet it could be enjoyed as a puzzle game but it’s more of a monster collecting game. If you’ve looked at the screenshots and thought it was a puzzle game then you’ll probably be surprised. The game isn’t bad at all if you enjoy similar games like the Card-styled games sold from Mobage.
There are over 225 different monsters for you to collect and evolve from, which it makes it very temping for players to collect them all! Most of the creatures are vibrant, colorful, and cool. However, there is little high definition animation and most of them are similar to a Card.
Overall, if you’ve played Mobage’s other games like Transformers Legends or Marvel War of Heroes and enjoyed it then this is one game you want to pick up in your local app store. It shares a similar design but with innovative gameplay that makes it stand out from the rest of their titles.
