Dragon Story player can enjoy three brand new dragons for their islands. The Night Dragons are a brand new element dragon that is the color of Black. That means we had pink dragons before and now we have Black dragon. These dragons are also known as Onyx Dragons depending on how you want to describe them. However, we adopted the term Black-type dragons for convenience.
The first Dragon Story dragon that we’re going to talk about is the Night Dragon. The Night Dragon is a single element dragon that unlocks all other black-type dragons in the game. That means once you get this dragon you can begin getting other black hybrid dragons in the game.
How to breed Night Dragon
So how do you breed the Night Dragon if it’s a single element dragon? You can get the night dragon by combining the Purple and Blue colors. That means you can use a Water Dragon and a Magic Dragon for a chance to get the night dragon. The breeding time is 23 hours and the hatching time is 23 hours
How to breed Hunter Dragon
The Hunter Dragon is a black-hybrid dragon that has the colors of Black and Green. That means you can get the hunter dragon using the Forest Dragon and the Night Dragon. The breeding time is 19 hours and so is the hatching time.
How to breed Goblin Dragon
This Goblin Dragon in Dragon Story is a black-hybrid dragon. It combines the colors of Red and Black. You can use the Fire Dragon and the Night Dragon for a chance to get this dragon. The breeding time is 9 hours.

There are also the bat dragon (a black-yellow hybrid dragon) and deep dragon (a black-blue hybrid dragon). I wish team lava release the Onix dragon ( the gemstone black dragon) as soon as they can. I got it on my first try with coral and water dragon.
3 times in a row I’ve bred my black and red dragons and gotten a coral dragon 0.o but that’s a blue/water hybrid. What’s happening?
The hybrids are still rare, even though you’d think they shouldn’t be.
You get the coral dragon because the Night dragon is blue/purple hybrid and Coral dragon is blue/purple also so when you breed the Night dragon with something else, you have a chance to get the COMMON Coral dragon.
I got my Black Dragon with Mistmoth and a Wizard Dragon. ( Both Water and Magic dragons )

Same here, I’ve tried breeding black with other dragons numerous times and just getting blue or purple dragons. In fact the more dragon story releases new dragons, the more I get the common ones. What’s going on?

Black a pearl gave me a moon and black and topaz gave me a black dragon and black and lighting gave me another black dragon no specific lvls I think in the 8 &7 range
5 hrs, Virtue & Night, what is that? i was hoping for goblin.. been trying for awhile…none of the 5hr dragons make sense with this combo.
